hi, i'm celia
hi, i'm celia
welcome to what i can only call my life’s work: like dororthy, i’m not in kansas anymore.
Guided by originality and intention, I strive to create thoughtfully, balancing instinct, magic and growth.
This May, I will graduate from the University of Missouri with a degree in Journalism Strategic Communication and a minor in Business Marketing. I am a member of Gamma Phi Beta, where I served as Social Chair and Membership Vice President. I was lucky enough to study in Florence, Italy during the 2025 spring semester. I am a member of Italian Club and Mizzou CEO Club and am proud to have made the Dean’s List every semester. My time at Mizzou has been transformative — I am so grateful for it.
SCHOOL
I was raised in Prairie Village, Kansas with my parents and two sisters, who (lucky for them) I fall right in the middle of. I spent most of my childhood at my dance studio and most of high school in the newsroom. Both my high school and I saw little success with sports, so I became captain of the Pep Committee. Coaching a group on how to support a winning or losing team has become a real testament to my personality.
HOME
My internship experience began in finance, specifically insurance, with one summer at IMA in Kansas City, and the following in Los Angeles. The roles were customer relationship focused, allowing me to perfect my soft skills while learning technical skills in an unknown industry. I spent this summer breaching the PR world with LaForce in New York. This internship was the one of my dreams, and my career feels truly kickstarted because of it.
WORK
I always knew New York was part of the plan, but so was the world. Now I want to go further. I want to lead in New York, teach and learn across cultures, and let my success propel me into spaces where I can create, influence and grow.
